Frequently Asked Questions

When should I schedule my session?

For the best selection of dates, schedule your session during the second half of your Junior year. Sessions are available starting in June for the next year's class. Summer and fall dates book very quickly.

What’s the best time of day to shoot?

There is no wrong answer, but my favorite time to schedule shoots is two hours before sunset. That gives us plenty of time to shoot with daylight and then with sunset light, which gives us a totally different look.

Will you help with posing?

The goal is for family and friends to see images that are 'so you.' To achieve that, I put you in the right light and encourage you to act natural to start. Walk. Tell me a joke. Breathe. From there, I will tell a few bad jokes and we will see where to go from there. Still need more posing help? I can help with that, too.

Am I required to do hair and makeup?

Absolutely not, but I cannot recommend it enough. You will have an overall more polished look for your photos with it, and there is a huge difference in doing your own makeup every day and being camera ready. Don't have a hair or makeup person? I can recommend a few to you.

How long will our session last?

The Full Senior Shoot lasts 2-3 hours, while the Mini Senior Shoot lasts approximately an hour.

When can I expect to see my images?

In most cases, a same day sneak peek will be available to view either on the blog or on Instagram (@mistyenrightseniors). We will schedule your in-person review of images to take place 10-14 days from your shoot on your shoot day. All decision makers must be present at the in-person review.

When can I expect to receive my Prints/Products?

Orders placed during the in-person review will arrive within two weeks (for Prints/Digitals/Canvas Prints) to three weeks (for Albums and Wood Prints).

How many final images will I see?

At the in-person review, you can expect to see approximately 40 images.

Will I get the Digital Images from my shoot?

Prints, Products, and Digital Images are not included in your Session Fee, but can be purchased separately either a la carte or as part of a Collection.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

Regardless of which session is right for you, there is a $400 minimum order requirement.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Session Fees and Product Orders can be paid by cash, check or credit card. Venmo and Paypal are also accepted.

Raves from Past Clients

Misty is the absolute best! She works so hard and works with all of her clients so well! Her pictures are amazing and she will make you look amazing, too! Jennings, Class of 2019
I had an absolute blast taking photos with Misty - she made me feel extremely comfortable and beautiful throughout the day. She also let me have control and say in what we were doing and was easily able to work with any specifications I had. She's very professional in her work and will produce a masterpiece that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend her and am very pleased with her service! If I had to give her a star rating out of five, I would give her a 10! Sharon, Class of 2019
Such a wonderful photographer! Professional equipment and results. Photo shoots can be uncomfortable, but she does a fantastic job at keeping the entire experience enjoyable. I will definitely get pictures taken by her again! Reagan, Class of 2019
