What should you know about me?

What else should you know about me? I am a mommy to two beautifully fun girls, doggy-mommy to the cutest dachshund around, and wife to my best friend. I LOVE college basketball and the NFL, and some people call me a fanatic. My favorite month is March, for March Madness and my wedding anniversary. I wear Chucks incessantly. I quote movies in every situations (usually really bad movies), dance a little like Elaine from Seinfeld, and always have a silly song in my head. I think Steve Martin is a genius. Sixlets should be their own food group. I love live music - any genre. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is my favorite movie. And probably the most telling, I have an eye for the smallest of details and am a master at finding continuity mistakes in TV and movies.

For me, this passion for photography started with two boxes of Kodak film, a hot pink 110 camera, and a trip to Washington, DC. I was 10 years old and on my first overnight trip and instead of wasting film taking silly photos of and with my friends, I remember being so excited about shooting the National Cathedral and all of the monuments. That passion led to me always being the 'girl with a camera’ throughout the rest of school. I always thought it would be something fun I did for me, but I have been lucky enough for it to be my full-time job for the past 13 years. And after all this time, it's still my passion.

A full-time photographer for 13 years now, I’m best shooting in the sun, in the shade, on the beach, in a dark alley, in the snow, and just about anywhere else you can think of.

Photography has been my passion since I was a small kid fascinated by my dad’s Pentax K1000 film camera. The camera is different today, but photography is still my hobby in addition to being my job.

I believe in simple, clean images captured beautifully in-camera and enhanced only a bit in post-production.
