What should you know about me?

For me, the passion for photography started with two boxes of Kodak film, a hot pink 110 camera, and a trip to Washington, DC. I was 10 years old and on my first overnight school trip. Because I had two boxes of 110 film, instead of wasting film taking silly photos of and with my friends, I remember being so excited about shooting the National Cathedral, Mount Vernon and all of the monuments.

What else? I am a mommy to two beautifully fun girls, doggy-mommy to the cutest dachshund around, and wife to my best friend. I LOVE college basketball and the NFL. My favorite month is March, for March Madness and my wedding anniversary. I think Steve Martin is a genius. I love live music - any genre. And probably the most telling, I have an eye for the smallest of details and am a master at finding continuity mistakes in TV and movies.

A full-time photographer for 13 years now, I’m best shooting in the sun, in the shade, on the beach, in a dark alley, in the snow, and just about anywhere else you can think of.

Photography has been my passion since I was a small kid fascinated by my dad’s Pentax K1000 film camera. The camera is different today, but photography is still my hobby in addition to being my job.

I believe in simple, clean images captured beautifully in-camera and enhanced only a bit in post-production.
